The Code

(Community Guidelines)

The Code of Conduct

Our Code was developed, reviewed, and implemented to help ensure every Trans*It experience feels safe, respectful, and uplifting. They apply to everyone who uses Trans*It; personnel, administrators Trans*Itioners and end-users/clients alike. The Code applies to each interpersonal interaction and experience whether it's in-person, through any of our online platforms, telephonic interactions, and conduct arising on an extra-servicial basis that we become aware of, whereas such conduct inherently threatens the safety of Trans*It and those with whom it interacts.

Everyone who wishes to interact with Trans*It in any way and on any level is required to read, accept, and follow The Code. For those who can't or even simply can't be bothered(not recommended), here’s the TLDR:

1) Treat everyone with respect (you don't have to like them, just don't disrespect them)

2) Everyone should not only be, but feel safe; do your part

3) Be gay(or not), only do crimes like existing

Together, we can create a positive and inclusive environment and maintain a safe space for all involved.

The Code details most of the kinds of positive and negative interpersonal interactions with Trans*It, as well as the behaviors and/or circumstances that may lead to your loss of access to The Community. There will always be unforeseen events/circumstances that may ultimately lead to your losing access to our community and services, but the following is a guideline for the kind of positive and uplifting behavior we expect from everyone in The Community. Not following The Code will constitute a breach/violation of the Terms of your agreements with Trans*It and may result in, either temporarily or permanently, the loss of access to part or all of our services. You are encouraged to report potential Code violations to Trans*It and we will address any report in accordance with our Policies, Terms, and The Code.

We will update The Code regularly...and often...and on an as-needed basis.

1) Treat everyone with respect

Golden Rule It:

Your interpersonal interactions, or lack thereof, no matter how small, with Trans*It and those with whom Trans*It interacts do have a big impact on the safety, security, and comfort of others. When in doubt, Golden Rule it.

Some examples:

-Be on time for your ride, service, or to pick up your delivery

-Please don't shout, swear with malicious intent, or slam doors. We tend to contract and provide services to those who happen to be neurodivergent, and overstim is very real.

-Clean up after yourself. If you have trash(or rubbish if you're English), ask if your driver or service provider has a trash bag or take your rubbish with you. If you spill, clean it up. Let your transitioner know.

When all else fails, use good judgment and be a decent human towards other humans when using Trans*It, kay?

This is a safe place for everyone. Let's make sure everyone feels safe. Using a person’s correct pronouns is one of the ways in which we affirm each other and know we're in a safe space. If you’re unsure of a person’s pronouns, ask.

Help us help you help us keep every individual safe. Everyone helps in creating a safe space for all.

Trans*It was created out of a *need for*, and *to be* a safe and welcoming space for everyone, regardless of background/immutable qualities. Remember that when you interact with others in The Community: not everyone looks, thinks, or has the same background as you. We respect those differences, and, in a perfect world, celebrate them. Discrimination based on any immutable trait(listed below) will not be tolerated in any capacity and will result in permanent loss of access to Trans*It and Our Community.

Anti-Discrimination:

You should always feel safe, secure, and like you belong. Because as long as you're a positive balance, you do. We expect the same anti-discriminations from you that we follow: we will never discriminate and are actively against discrimination based on things like age, race, skin color, ethnicity, language, geographical location, culture, nationality or national origin, religion, political alignment, disability, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, gender, or identity.

Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.

Trans*It is anti-racist and anti-discrimination. Periodt.

Furthermore, disparaging talk, degrading comments or behavior, or bullying or abusive content about any of the above of any kind isn't allowed, makes you a suckish human being, and will not be tolerated.

The Following Is A NON-Exhaustive List Exampling Discriminatory Actions:

(For personnel and Trans*Itioners):

-Refusing to provide services or making an experience disparate to or worse than any other experience based on any immutable trait (see above) protected under law or not.

-Taking actions which negatively affect others based on a client's destination or delivery location. It is totally valid to decline a trip or delivery because it doesn't work for you, but intentionally refusing or canceling requests just to avoid a particular neighborhood due to the characteristics of the people or businesses who are located in that area, is discrimination and terms for contract severance.

(For Everyone):

-Reviewing, rating, profile notation, or filing complaints concerning anyone in The Community based on immutable traits.

-Using discriminatory language, making discriminatory remarks, vilifying, or asking menacing questions or questioning sensitive topics regarding any immutable trait previously mentioned with the intent to cause mental or psychological harm including making racist comments or using slurs will result in exclusion from The Community.

If you are subject to discrimination or witness discriminatory behavior, please report the incident to Trans*It through Sabrina by SMS or by e-mail, by our website, or through any of our social media platforms so that we can follow up and take action to keep our community safe.

We are strongly committed to the best accessibility standards possible. We are constantly asking advice and updating our training modules to be the most inclusive. The Americans With Disabilities Act (1990) is just a start for us. If we fail, let us (Sabrina) know so we can do better immediately.

Service Animals And Assistive Devices:

It is against the law to deny a ride, delivery, or service to a client with a service animal or assistive device (wheelchairs, crutches, canes, etc.) because of the service animal(s) or assistive device(s). As part of The Code, riders are always allowed to transport Assistive Devices and Service Animals unless forbidden by law.

2) Everyone should not only be, but feel safe; do your part(also applies to all of the above)

Physical Contact:

Don't touch people without explicit consent—platonically or otherwise.

And while using Trans*It, don't touch people. This is a professional setting and you've just met. People may not feel comfortable enough to say no. Unless you're needing or requesting physical assistance in direct line with any of our services—just no. Physically hurting anyone is never allowed—even with consent.

Other Prohibited Behaviors:

Comments about or asking personal questions regarding personnel's, Trans*Itioner's or a client's personal life, relationship status, sexual orientation, contact information including phone number, home address, social media accounts or connections, and/or romantic or sexual preferences)

Inappropriate Post-Service Contact:

Interpersonal contact ends when the ride, delivery, or service is complete, with the sole exception to return a lost item and with appropriate consent. Unwanted contact, absent enthusiastic, affirmative, WRITTEN or otherwise RECORDED consent, will be characterized as harassment and includes, but is not limited to: texting, calling, social media contact such as following/friending, visiting, or trying to visit someone in-person after a ride, delivery, or service has been completed. Inappropriate post-contract contact may also result in permanent account deactivation and in some cases, notification to law enforcement.

Unsafe Behaviors:

Rude/Threatening Behavior:

Aggressive, confrontational, or harassing behavior is not allowed. Don't use language, make gestures, or take actions that would be taken by the average/reasonable person be disrespectful, discriminatory, threatening, or in any way inappropriate.

Property Damage:

Damaging property is not allowed, even with consent.

Some examples include, but are not limited to: damaging(with or without intent, with or without vanity, utility, functionality diminished), vandalizing, or breaking the property of anyone in The Community before, during, or after rides, deliveries, or services are rendered. This includes intentionally spilling food or drink, smoking in a vehicle in violation of Iowa's Clean Air Act, or vomiting due to excessive alcohol consumption or knowingly riding with such emetic potential(if you know you're going to puke or there's a strong possibility, at least let us know). If you damage property, permanently or otherwise, you're responsible for the cost of cleaning and repair fees, not including designed-use normal wear and tear. Intentional damage will result in cleaning and repair fees and for all non-consensual incidents, exile from The Community.

Account Sharing:

Account sharing is not allowed. Each individual must complete an account before services can be rendered. Trans*Itioners must complete all parts of the delivery themselves unless they have requested assistance with Trans*It.

Extra Riders And Non-Account Riders:

When riding with Trans*It, no one other than the driver, the requesting rider, the rider's guest(s), and fuzzy, furry, or scaly companions should be in the vehicle. The account holder is responsible for the actions/behavior of everyone they bring. If you request a ride, delivery or service for another adult, they must have an active account and you're held responsible for their behavior, including financially, during their trip or delivery and your account can be deactivated for their behaviors/actions.

Unaccompanied Minors:

You must be 18 years or older to create a Trans*It account. Account holders can't request a ride, delivery, or service for an unaccompanied minor who will not be under the direct supervision of the account holder who requested the ride, service, or delivery. When ordering a ride, delivery, or service, minors are not allowed to use an adult's account by themselves. The ride, delivery, or service will be refused. We have Trans*It Teen accounts available for teens aged 13-17 who have been given written permission by their parent or guardian.

Vehicle And Trans*Ition Safety:

Vehicle Information:

For ease-of-use during pickup and/or delivery, Trans*It gives clients identifying information about drivers and delivery personnel including name and profile picture and their vehicles including their license plate number, and vehicle make and model.

Proper Vehicle Presentation, Maintenance and licensure:

Pursuant to the terms of their contracts with Trans*It, Trans*Itioners are expected and are continually verified by Trans*It that all relevant licenses, permits, and any other legal documents required by law must be kept up to date.

All Trans*Itioners are also expected to keep their vehicles maintained and in exceptional operating condition according to industry safety and maintenance standards, and being vigilant of, reporting, and repairing any parts which are damaged, defective, or recalled.

Drivers and delivery people are also expected to maintain a clean and sanitized vehicle. If this is not the case, clients may photograph what is wrong and send it to Sabrina so we may address this issue.

Seat belts:

Every person in a vehicle whilst using Trans*It are required to buckle up. Clients may not request a vehicle that has less than enough seat belts for everyone in their party. Trans*Itioners will decline a ride or party members (if acceptable by the party) if there are not enough seat belts in their vehicle for every rider...and no, you can't ride in the trunk.

Helmets for non-cars/trucks:

When riding a bike, e-bike, motorcycle, sk8board, scooter, or e-scooter, you're only cool (and it's part of The Code) if you use a properly fitted and buckled helmet.

Driver safe-ity:

We only contract Trans*Itioners with the highest, glowing recommendations. All Trans*Itioners must, at the *very* least:

-Be at least 19 years of age

-Have a clean driving record of at least 7 years

-Pass both local and national background checks

Drivers are held to the highest standard to create and maintain an environment that allows riders feel safe. Regardless of whether their driving violates the law, reports of dangerous driving will disallow future pairings at absolute minimum and can lead to the loss of access to Our Community as a Trans*Itioner.

Client Safe-ity:

If you would like to share location info with friends and loved ones while on a trip (required for Trans*It Teen accounts absent waiver), you may request a location text while we are stopped, or for real-time location, the client may add us on Snapchat and send us the username of whom you would like to share your location.

Due to the staggering numbers afflicting Our Community, we take threats of suicide and self-harm seriously and will reach out to authorities or the appropriate contacts to request a wellness check if we receive notification that there is an imminent risk of self-harm.

Safe-ity for all:

Recording video and/or audio:

It is policy that Trans*Itioners for the duration of the ride, delivery, or service record each client interaction through installation and/or use of phones, dashcams, GPS devices, and other software, which are used to record the ride, delivery, or service so that there will be provided evidence to Trans*It, law enforcement, and/or insurance companies in the event that something goes wrong during a ride, delivery, or service. If a Trans*Itioner turns off their recording device at any time for any reason and a complaint arises, this is considered ground for automatic dismissal regardless of the accusation(s). Clients may choose and are encouraged to use their phones to record rides, deliveries, and services as well for security purposes.

Iowa is a one-party consent state. We do one better. Consider this notification that there will be no 'they said/they said' during a complaint. If somebody violates The Code, you will be heard, understood, and we will take immediate action.

Conversely, sharing or streaming a person's image either by audio or video recording to social media or in other digital or physical public locations without express, written or otherwise recorded enthusiastic consent is a violation of our Community Guidelines and will result in a review.

You may submit recordings in conjunction to a complaint or compliment at your discretion. For your own protection, do not submit sensitive info. We will review all submitted footage and take any and all action consistent with the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

Emergencies:

In case of emergency or if you find yourself in any manner of immediate danger, dial 911 before notifying Trans*It.

For public emergencies, Trans*It may take additional measures to try to preserve the safety of our platform, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, and public crisis situations.

Deliveries:

Food, Drink, Non-Perishable, And Non-Food Item Disclaimers(Caveat Emptor):

Any disputes arising from the accuracy, inaccuracy, safety, or validity of an order are solely between the recipient/client and the merchant. We are only a means of conveyance.

We do not provide warranty or guarantee for items received for a client, only receipt of delivery. You can order anything you like, but if you order a sandwich from Dirty Dave via The Dark Ally under the 9th Street Bridge and you get sick, that's on you. Perishable food items can cause food-borne illness if not properly handled with proper hygiene and under the proper time and temperature controls. We do not check any relevant licensing requirements or regulations including food safety and hygiene regulations.

We do not utilize tamper-evident packaging for deliveries. If merchants so choose, they may. Merchants are expected to act responsibly on information provided by the client(s')/end-user(s) related to food allergies, intolerances, sensitivities, or other dietary restrictions in order to either honor or reject order requests if they cannot satisfy the consumer's safety requirements. Neither Trans*It nor Trans*Itioners assume responsibility for user dietary restrictions. As this is either part of a user's medical history and/or religion, we both cannot and will not ask.

Use of an insulated food delivery bag is encouraged but not required by Iowa law. If this is a requirement for your deliveries, let us know.

Use of single-use plastic bags is discouraged and reusable grocery bags are encouraged—global crisis and whatnot. Use is not required by Iowa law. If this is a requirement for your deliveries, let us know.

Non-food products and oversized products can also cause illness, injury, or property damage if they are not handled, packaged, labeled, or stored correctly, or if they do not include instructions for proper use(IFpUs). While it is our goal to keep everyone happy, healthy, safe, the end-user/recipient must assume responsibility for product research and consumption. In order to avoid injury to the delivery person or end-user, please follow any applicable IFpUs, safety warnings, labels, usage, and/or storage instructions.

Trans*Itioners should deliver orders in accordance with legal and yumminess standards. Their goal should be to get it there before it gets cold or warm or soggy or watery and they may not tamper with or open packaging during delivery. Because we have no way to check the food before pickup or during delivery, any dispute arising from food quality will be between the merchant and client(s)/end user(s). Food tampering in any way constitutes an immediate dismissal-of-contract and possible legal action.

Street Hails And Off-Platform Pickups:

We do not allow street hails or off-platform pickups. No Trans*Itioner will ever solicit or accept payment through means not designated directly by Trans*It. For your own protection, financial, legal, and otherwise, do not request trips from Trans*Itioners outside of Trans*It. To combat fraud and extra-servicial pickups, Trans*Itioners may have their account paused for review if they consistently cancel after accepting requests.

Off-Premise Alcohol delivery:

We cannot deliver alcohol to an unaccompanied minor(under 21). No matter how old you look, even if you're 84-years-old, you will be asked to provide a state or government-issued photo ID. We cannot legally deliver alcohol without it. Trans*Itioners will use technology to verify the ID presented and the user's age. In addition, we cannot deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or even appears to be drunk. Due to Iowa law, we can only deliver between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. If we cannot get to you by 10:01p.m., we will not accept the delivery request or we will reschedule.

If you order an alcoholic item and do not meet the above requirements, the alcoholic items will be returned to the seller on the end-user's behalf at the end-user's delivery and restocking expense. If the item in question cannot be restocked, we cannot issue a refund.

Prohibited And Age-Restricted Items:

If we can legally deliver your item, we're game.

In Iowa, this means no firearms, dangerous weapons, or lottery tickets.

Special restrictions include: Fireworks, which we cannot deliver directly to your doorstep, but can set a designated pickup location for and which we will only deliver to those 18+. Adult toys, which we will only deliver to those 18+.

We will ask for and verify ID on all age-restricted items, every time.

Give A Hoot, Don't Not Follow The Law:

Car seats:

Trans*Itioners must comply with Iowa law when traveling with kiddos. Car seats are a legal requirement for children in Iowa. Iowa law specifies that kiddos under one year and weighing less than 20 pounds must be in a rear-facing child restraint. Kiddos aged one to six must be secured in a child restraint system. Kiddos aged six to eleven may use a child restraint system or a vehicle seat belt. It's the client's responsibility to provide and secure the proper car seat. Kiddos aged 12 and under will be asked to travel in the back seat. If a kiddo does not appear to be within the height and weight requirements for the car seat, if the above guidelines won't be followed, or if a Trans*Itioner otherwise feels that the kiddo cannot be safely transported in the seat, we will refuse the ride and you will be charged a cancellation fee.

If your Trans*Itioner isn't following the rules of the road and you're uncomfortable, please speak up.

Conversely: please, no back-seat driving. If you suggest an alternate route to your driver mid-ride you are responsible for the ramifications such as a later drop-off or heavier traffic flow. They may also not be able to take an alternate route out of consideration for other passengers.) You may also not suggest your Trans*Itioner to speed or to make illegal stops, drop-offs, pick-ups or maneuvers. Any mid Trans*Ition change will incur a separate base fee of $12(+tax), even if it's "on the way."

3) Be gay, only do crimes like existing

Community Criminal Legal Standards:

Our standards will always not only comply with, but echo State and Federal law. Using Trans*It to commit any crime, including, but absolutely not limited to: money laundering, violating temporary restraining or no contact orders, transporting drugs, committing drug or human trafficking, sexual exploitation of any kind, or violating any other State and/or Federal Law, is strictly prohibited. At the balance of Community safety, we reserve the right to immediately, and without warning, terminate your account at only a suspicion of such and turn over any evidence to the appropriate authorities.

The above paragraph includes traffic laws and airport rules and regulations.

If a Trans*Itioner isn’t following the law, you can submit an anonymous complaint via Sabrina and we will handle it as such and against legal standards and The Code.

Tobacco, Drugs And Alcohol:

Illicit drug possession, open containers of alcohol, or use of either are never allowed while Trans*Itioning. Pursuant to The Clean Air Act, neither is tobacco use while in Iowa. If a client is clearly intoxicated, belligerent, or carrying open containers or illicit drugs, Trans*Itioners reserve the right to decline the trip or terminate the ride mid-trip for their own safety. If we believe you could be a danger to yourself or others, local authorities will be notified.

If you're Trans*Itioning and you have reason to believe your driver may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, ask the driver to end the trip immediately. Then exit the vehicle and call 911. Once you have left the vehicle, please also report your experience to Trans*It.

Firearms And Dangerous Weapons:

Both Trans*Itioners and clients are prohibited from carrying firearms or dangerous weapons as defined by Iowa Code 702.7 while Trans*Itioning, to the extent permitted by law. This does not include "non-lethal" personal defense items such a pepper spray, tasers(the generic term, not the trademark), personal alarms, and similar items.

Fraud:

It's a suckish thing to do. It scares people, it's dangerous, and usually people don't like you or wanna be around you after. Intentionally falsifying information and/or using a fake ID or someone else's identity isn't allowed. Providing honest and accurate information when creating your account(s), reporting incidents, disputing or claiming charges or fees, and requesting Trans*It Tender is paramount.

Fraud also includes, but is not limited to:

(Trans*Itioners)

-Deliberately increasing the time or distance of a trip or delivery

-Accepting ride, delivery, or service requests without the intention to complete the entire request

-Encouraging or coercing clients to cancel for financial or other gain

(clients)

-Creating Smerf accounts or unauthorized duplicate accounts

(Trans*Itioners and Clients)

-Intentionally requesting or accepting fraudulent or falsified trips or deliveries

-Claiming to complete a delivery without delivering all components

-Manipulating or using subterfuge surrounding the functioning of Trans*It's technologies

-Abusing deals and/or promotions and/or events and/or not using them for their intended purpose

-Disputing charges for illegitimate or personal gain

-Using Trans*It emblems and the like to pose and conduct business as Trans*It or to damage our reputation or business

Sexual Harassment, Misconduct And Assault:

We all value our personal space and privacy. So again, Golden Rule it. Please don't question someone's physical presentation or ask whether they are single. Sexual assault and sexual misconduct of any kind is prohibited. (obvi.) Sexual assault and misconduct refers to sexual contact or behavior without explicit consent of the other person. We hold consent and bodily autonomy as two of our highest values.

Trans*It has a no-sex rule regardless of whether you know the person or they give you their consent.

For a more detailed analysis, definitions, or what to do if this happens to you or someone else, see the end of this section.

Safety Measures:

Trans*It is and always will be staunchly committed to creating and maintaining a Community which promotes safe and respectful experiences for everyone in Our Community. Each of everyone's experiences should feel safe and free from fear, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, and sexual assault during interaction with Trans*It. This includes from Trans*Itioners, personnel, clients, and anyone in Our Community.

Through enforcement of The Code, and by education of personnel and Trans*Itioners, Trans*It will seek to prevent and respond appropriately to reported behavior that violates The Code. This may include actions up to exiling a member from Our Community and under serious circumstances, taking legal action.

All personnel, Trans*Itioners, and clients are covered by and are expected to comply with this policy and to take appropriate measures to ensure that inappropriate conduct does not occur.

If you feel unsafe for any reason at all, please report this directly to our HR department through Sabrina via SMS or DM on any of our social media platforms or by e-mailing HumansRequestingTransport@Transitdsm.com

Definitions:

For purposes of this policy and related training materials, "sexual harassment," shall include sexual assault or sexual misconduct in line with Iowa Code Chapters 216, Chapter 709, and 19B.12, where it's defined as conduct of a sexual nature that interferes with employment, affects employment decisions, or creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment. This includes persistent, repetitive, or highly egregious conduct of a sexual nature that a reasonable person would interpret as intentional harassment. This can include unwelcome speech or conduct directed at an individual because of their sex, sexual characteristics, or gender. Additionally, quid pro quo harassment, where an employment benefit is conditioned on sexual behavior, is also prohibited...and gross.

We extend this definition to any unwanted/unwarranted sexual advances or behavior, not interpreted by the aggressor or the reasonable person, but by the survivor, and in this non-sexual setting, this means all of them. This is neither the place nor the time.

Consent:

Must be affirmative, enthusiastic, informed, freely given, reversable, and specific. Without ALL of these factors, any actions taken by either personnel, Trans*Itioners or clients will be considered NON-consensual.

Consensual Sex:

Trans*It has a no-sex rule. Sexual contact is prohibited while engaging with any personnel, Trans*Itioner, platform, or client, at any time before, during, or after the course of business, regardless of whether you know the person, or they give you their consent. This includes all heretofore listed activities. Violation of Trans*It's no-sex rule, regardless of consent being properly obtained, may result in permanent deactivation of the participating parties' accounts.

Retaliation:

Reporting a good faith complaint of sexual misconduct or sexual assault will in no way be used against personnel, Trans*Itioner, or client or have an adverse impact on the individual's account. No penalty may be imposed on a user in response to them:

Miscellaneous(For What It's Worth):

Intellectual property:

You may never use Trans*It's forward-facing marketing or intellectual property without express, written permission. Trans*Itioners are also required to return all Trans*It items including uniforms and emblems to Human Resources if they lose access to the platform. The use of unauthorized or third-party items such as lights, emblems, placards, signs, logos, uniforms, memorabilia, or like-items bearing Trans*It's name or product or service identity is expressly forbidden. Drivers and delivery people should only use official Trans*It-branded logos, and only under licensed contractual capacitance.

Talk Our Cat Ears Off:

We love meeting new people and new experiences! We're all about becoming the best version of ourselves and our Code, and while we think we usually have a finger on the pulse of all that is good, and new, and awesome, your feedback makes sure of this! And if something goes wrong and you want to report it, you can convey this to Sabrina through SMS, e-mail or any of our social media platforms so that we may follow up. In case of an emergency or if you find yourself in immediate danger, dial 911 or emergency services before notifying Sabrina.

Ratings:

Trans*Itioners and clients are prompted to rate their experience after a Trans*ition. You may also do so at any time.

While we don't have minimum average ratings, Trans*Itioners and clients may lose access to all or certain positions within Our Community with quantity and severity of mixed or bad reviews. If your reviews are approaching this threshold, we will let you know and will share information that may help you improve your ratings.

Enforcing The Code:

If you violate any of The Terms of your contractual agreement(s) with Trans*It, including The Code or any part thereof, or any additional guidelines, standards, or policies whether posted or conveyed directly to you by Trans*It, you may lose access to all or part of The Trans*It Community. If you have more than one account, as a Trans*Itioner and/or client and/or business, violating The Terms or any sub-part thereof could also prove loss to all other accounts. If you believe an error caused you to lose access to your account, you may contact Sabrina for clarification. If you are still unsatisfied, you may appeal this decision to Trans*It personnel, and failing all else, The She-E-O.

We receive reports of potential Code violations through a variety of channels including client reviews, reviews of driver data(including dash cam and other means of recording), and reports submitted to Sabrina from clients, Trans*Itioners, and third-parties. It is Trans*Its policy to investigate each and every alleged incident. If we are made aware of potentially problematic behavior, we may contact anyone involved as a party or witness to an alleged incident. We will likely, at our sole discretion, put a hold on accounts alleged of problematic behavior until our review is complete.

Not following The Terms, The Code, or any sub-part thereof, may result in the loss of access to Our Community. This can include reported violations of The Code within Our Community and while using Trans*'It or even behaviors and choices made outside of Our Community. If we determine that those actions threaten the safety or security of Our Community, our personnel, or Trans*Itioners, or cause harm to our brand, reputation, or business and the allegations are serious or a repeat report, or you refuse to cooperate, you may lose access to Our Community. Any behavior involving discrimination, violence, sexual misconduct, harassment, fraud, or deceptive, illegal, or unsafe activity while interacting with anyone connected to or using Trans*It can result in the immediate loss of access to Our Community. When law enforcement is involved, Trans*It will cooperate to the fullest extent of the law permissible with their investigation in accordance with our Code. All Trans*Itioners undergo an extensive screening process which includes their driving record and local and national criminal background checks. A Trans*Itioner will automatically have their contract terminated if they are found to have a new traffic violation or failing criminal background check. Any other check uncovers a matter with relevance to their ability to Trans*Ition in violation of The Code or other criteria required will be taken on a case-by-case basis.

Iowa and The Des Moines International Airport also regulates some of the services provided by Trans*It and how we may provide them. If a Trans*Itioner is not or refuses to be in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, we will be required to remove access to The Community.

We're all here to have fun and get stuff done, right? Let's do that.
